Host Recomendations for a Secure Meeting

In the meeting Setup click Advanced Options - to see more options (see  example photo below)

Make sure "Passwords" is checked off. These will go into the invitation link. The default is Automatic Meeting name which creates a random name. You should make a new invite for each meeting as that random one may only work once as security increases.

Block attendees from sharing the screen. This must be done when Opening a meeting. Use the up arrow beside "Share Screen", select "Advanced Sharing Options", under "Who Can Share" click "Only Host".  Later software version are making this automatic.

For large meetings there is an option to mute all attendees. They can each unmute when they are invited to contribute (maybe by raising their hand). Attendees use the spacebar to easily mute and unmute.

To eject an intruder.  Keep the bottom "Participants" menu open at the right side. To eject a participant hold the mouse over the participants name; options will appear, click "Remove". Removed folks won't get back into that meeting.  But if you restart the same meeting thewy can.
(Click Here for more info on options with the Waiting Room and Participants)

Generally the options you choose for a meeting are all preset on the next meeting but with the new security that may not be so. You may want to mute people on entry if you are having a large meeting. Attendees can turn themselves ON and OFF as needed with their Space Bar

Below is an example Schedule Meeting form filled in. Click Advanced Options to see more. Here it sets Participants to come in with Audio and Video ON but that is an Option of course. Also Computer Audio is clicked rather than Telephone and Computer Audio. Doing that removes the list of phone numbers in the invitation message.  If you may want to allow Phone-In so Leave the other option ON.  Phone-Ins will have to use the password.
